Patchy Fog, Tracking Storms TodayOctober 2nd, 2013 at 5:46 am by Pamela Gardner under Weather
Patchy fog has developed in central Indiana, with the thickest fog in northwestern Indiana. Visibility could be reduced to under a quarter of a mile through daybreak. Temperatures are in the low to mid 60s right now. Later today the heat increases along with the humidity. This will help to trigger pop-up t-storms later this afternoon. Tonight, some lingering storms or showers with lows in the 60s.
Thursday’s high temps will be just as warm and it will be humid again. Another round of scattered showers and storms will be possible. The storm chances repeat for Friday and Saturday. Saturday night we do have a chance for severe thunderstorms as a potent cold front moves through. On Sunday some lingering showers are possible. Temperatures go from the mid 80s Saturday to the lower 70s by Sunday.
