Another Chance For Rain And StormsOctober 3rd, 2013 at 5:33 am by Pamela Gardner under Weather
Hit-or-miss showers and storms stay in our forecast today. The storms aren’t expected to be severe here, but in Iowa and Nebraska there is a slight risk for severe storms. Patchy fog can be found again this morning, but the visibility numbers aren’t nearly as bad as yesterday. However, in Jay County they do report some dense fog. Stay tuned for the latest fog updates throughout Daybreak on WISH-TV through 7am and on MyINDY-TV from 7am to 8am.
Temperatures are in the 60s and lower 70s. Today’s highs reach the low to mid 80s again with rather high humidity. Tonight’s lows fall into the 60s but it will be muggy.
Friday’s high temps reach the mid to upper 80s and more isolated storms and showers are possible. Saturday will be a repeat of Friday’s forecast…except that Saturday evening some severe storms are possible. A cold front passes through Saturday night. A few storms may linger into Sunday’s forecast. Cooler temps take over Sunday into the first half of next week with highs in the lower 70s.
