Chilly end to the week, warmer for the weekendOctober 24th, 2013 at 4:22 pm by Robb Ellis under Weather
Did you enjoy the snowflakes? Or are you looking for warmer weather? Well, the cold air will remain in place through Friday, but warmer temperatures are on the way. The weekend will see a return to the 50s, but a more Spring-like pattern will emerge next week.
Any leftover wintry mix from this afternoon will exit this evening. Partly cloudy skies will linger for a bit, but clearing is expected by daybreak. With clear skies temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 20s and low 30s again tonight.
A cold end to the week. After a start in the upper 20s, plenty of sunshine will move the temperatures to the upper 40s. A few clouds will mix in during the day, but sunshine will be more plentiful than the past few days. Lows in the upper 30s.
A brief bit of warm air will move in by Saturday, with highs in the mid 50s. Partly cloudy are expected through the day, thickening into the evening and overnight. Lows in the mid 30s.
More clouds in the morning than in the afternoon with temperatures slightly cooler than Saturday. High sin the low 50s with lows in the 30s.
There remains some uncertainty whether or not a surge of warm air will make it this far to the north. Many models move temperatures into the 60s while some keep those warm numbers farther south. We’ll go with an optimistic warm forecast, with highs in the 60s for most of the week. Rainy and stormy systems will move through for the middle of the week.
