Cloudy with isolated showers this afternoon…storms arrive tomorrowOctober 30th, 2013 at 2:32 pm by Robb Ellis under Weather
All eyes are on the Halloween forecast, as it looks to be windy and warm with heavy rain and possible thunderstorms. However, in the meantime, here’s what to expect for this afternoon and evening.
Low-level clouds and fog are sticking around for many spots in central Indiana, and that’s kept temperatures from warming up. However, much warmer numbers are approaching from the south, and a warming trend is expected overnight. Expect temperatures to stay in the 60s through the rest of the overnight.
Most of the rain remains to the west, but scattered showers and a few thunderstorms could be possible this afternoon, as the upper level support for the larger system gets closer. The heaviest rain looks to arrive tomorrow midday and continue through evening.
