The next 24 hours are mostly a temperature forecast. Warmer temperatures are expected through Wednesday, followed by a cool-down for the weekend.
With clouds remaining in place for most of the night, along with south winds, temperatures will stay more mild than the last few nights. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 40s. A few sprinkles could be possible south of Indianapolis.
Temperatures will be warmer in the low 60s with continued cloudy skies. A few breaks in the clouds will lead to a bit of sunshine by the afternoon. Rain is not expected until later Tuesday night.
Rain will arrive by midday, with a line of showers and possible thunderstorms pushing through from the west. Highs will be in the mid 60s ahead of this system. Right now the severe threat remains low. Behind the system, temperatures will drop into the 40s.
End of the week:
Temperatures drop into the low 50s for highs with more sunshine expected as dry air moves in. Overnight lows will be in the low 30s.
Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 50s. Overnight lows in the mid 30s.
