Foggy Start, Warm End to TuesdayDecember 3rd, 2013 at 5:09 am by Ken Brewer under Colts Forecast, Weather
THIS MORNING: Mild and humid air, and light wind are combining to produce areas of thick fog, so give yourself plenty of extra time this morning. Here is a look at some numbers, we will update these throughout the morning.
REST OF THE DAY: Warm air will surge into the state today, and highs will reach the mid to upper 50s. We should see low clouds linger.
THIS EVENING: It will stay very mild this evening. Temps will stay in the 50s. The soupy weather should linger.
TONIGHT: It could be another foggy and soupy night tonight. Lows will only drop into the low 50s!
WEDNESDAY: We will see another warm day. There will be scattered rain showers, but in spite of that, highs will reach the low 60s!
8-DAY FORECAST: Several winter weather systems will move into the region over the next 8 days. We will go into more detail on this in a bit. The first one will arrive late Thursday into early Friday. This could produce several inches of snow in some places, and a mix of snow and ice in others. It may be an I-70 dividing line on this one. Another wave should move in late Friday. This one may be more snow. Another winter system will arrive late Sunday night into early Monday. Too early to speculate on those systems just yet, so stay tuned.
