Updated Snow Totals, So FarDecember 6th, 2013 at 8:51 am by Ken Brewer under Weather
How much snow do you have?
Here are some maps of reports that we have received and what has been sent to the National Weather Service. Keep in mind, many locations will see more snow later today.
CENTRAL: Most of the snow along the I-70 corridor is in the 2″-5″ range
NORTH: Lighter totals here. The sharp cut-off is most difficult to forecast, we will hold off changing forecast here for now, because models still bring snow farther north later this afternoon. Some locations have seen 1″-3″, others NW have little / no snow yet. Here is a map.
SOUTH: Mixed bag here. SW areas are around 3″-5″+, SE areas are lesser for now, because of sleet and ice for most of the night. These locations should see heavier snow bands later today.
Here is a reminder of our forecast totals. We may have trouble hitting projections in NW viewing area, but we aren’t throwing in the towel there just yet, because all indications are that more snow will build north. I am nervous about the forecast there, but we will see.
