SNOW TIMELINE : What to expect through SundayDecember 13th, 2013 at 8:28 pm by Robb Ellis under Weather
Snow has begun for most of central Indiana and will continue overnight. Although there will be a break from the snow for locations south of Indianapolis, another round of heavy snow will likely impact areas south of Indy late Saturday morning.
Snow will continue. Areas south of Indy may get a brief break (or at least lighter snowfall rates) while areas north of Indy will get steady snow most of the night. Accumulation 2″ to 4″ possible overnight. Lows in the mid to upper 20s.
Snow continues for everyone, but heavier snow will move through southern central Indiana in late morning through midday. This will allow areas south of Indy to play catch up with areas to the north. Daytime temperatures will likely be in the low 30s. Additional 1 to 3″ of snow is possible.
Saturday afternoon:Snow will wind down through the afternoon and evening from west to east. Storm total snowfall is expected to be 3 to 6″ with isolated amounts of 7 to 8″ possible, especially north of Indianapolis. Expect lows in the mid 10s.
Sunday:Breezy and highs in the mid 20s. Overnight lows in the 10s. Partly to mostly cloudy skies.
