Cold With Some SnowDecember 15th, 2013 at 6:42 pm by Pamela Gardner under Weather
Forecast 8 Vipir shows flurries and snow showers just to our northwest. The snow stays in the forecast tonight into daybreak Monday. By the morning commute we could have a dusting of snow, up to half an inch of accumulation thanks to a small clipper system. Some clouds hang around and the flurries continue off and on Monday afternoon. Tuesday morning another quick system will give us an additional dusting to half inch.
Temps are in the upper teens and lower 20s. The wind is strong coming from the west, southwest. This makes our wind chill temps in the single digits for some. Tonight’s lows dip into the single-digits and lower teens. With a breeze overnight it will feel like near zero at times. High temps on Monday stay cold in the upper 20s.
Another small wave of snow moves through Monday night into Tuesday. Again, we could see minor snow accumulation with the system. Tuesday afternoon we start to dry out and will stay dry through most of the work-week. Temperatures start to increase day by day. Highs in the upper 40s return for the end of the week. Some rain chances also set in for next weekend.
