Warming UpDecember 18th, 2013 at 6:23 pm by Pamela Gardner under Weather
This afternoon our temps warmed into the upper 20s and lower 30s. Our warming trend has already begun! This evening temps fall to the lower 30s and upper 20s. Overnight lows won’t be quite as cold in the mid 20s. Warmer air already tries to move in tonight and into Thursday. A breeze picks up from the south, southwest occasionally gusting up to 30 mph mainly by daybreak Thursday. Patchy fog is a concern in low-lying areas through daybreak.
High temps on Thursday will be pleasant in the mid to upper 40s. By Friday our highs peak in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Temps stay milder for this weekend with highs in the mid 40s Saturday and in the lower 40s Sunday. Heavy rain is a big concern for Saturday into Sunday morning with estimated rainfall totals pushing 2″ to 3″. River flooding will be the result of melting snow and heavy rain.
