Warm Temps & Heavy Rain

Temps are in the 40s for a lot of places.  Tonight’s lows stay warm in the lower 40s.  Some patchy fog may develop and some light rain moves in after midnight.  Occasional rain is in the forecast for Friday with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

A Flood Watch goes into effect Friday night through Sunday morning for most of Indiana.  The heavy rain really moves through during that time, giving us 2″ to 4″ of rainfall through Sunday morning.  In isolated spots in southern Indiana we could get 5″ of rain.

The warm temps continue through the weekend.  Sunday night the temps fall and we will see the light rain change to some flurries.  Colder temps return as we begin Christmas week.  A small system could give us a chance for late evening light snow on Christmas Day.
