Flood Warning ContinuesDecember 21st, 2013 at 3:10 pm by Pamela Gardner under Weather
Steady to moderate rain is still moving through Indiana. The rain continues through this evening into tonight. Rainfall totals so far vary from place to place…Vincennes has the most with 3.70″ of rain. The NWS office in Indy reports 2.13″ of rain total for the event. A Flood Warning continues for most of central Indiana through 8pm Sunday.
A viewer just called in to say that he is seeing snow mixing in with the rain. Colder air is trying to cut into the northwestern part of the state and we could see some snow flakes mix in. Still expecting mainly rain for this afternoon and evening.
A slight risk for severe storms is still over the southeastern half of Indiana-including Indy. The storms that move in later this afternoon could produce damaging wind and there is an isolated tornado threat.
