Cold temps despite sunny skies

Even with plenty of sunshine this Christmas Eve, temperatures have remained cold. After lows this morning in the single digits and near 0, sunshine has moved the numbers into the mid to upper 10s.

Highs could top 20 degrees in parts of central Indiana, but a light breeze will keep win chill values low. A south wind kicks in tonight and temperatures won’t be able to cool down as much. Expect low temperatures near 15 degrees.

For Christmas Day high temperatures will be slightly warmer, near freezing. A few snow showers could be possible, especially north of Indy.
