A Warmer WeekendDecember 27th, 2013 at 6:03 am by Pamela Gardner under Weather
Temperatures have cooled into the lower 30s with wind chill temps in the 20s. With full sunshine and a southwest breeze our temps warm into the upper 30s and lower 40s today. Tonight our lows briefly dip into the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Saturday we stay mainly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Sunday’s highs will be in the lower 40s, but temps fall during the afternoon hours. A rain/snow mix moves in Sunday afternoon. Then as temps fall the mix changes to some light snow showers. Accumulation isn’t impressive through daybreak Monday, maybe up to half an inch of snow.
Temperatures continue to plummet for Monday as highs only reach the lower 20s. Overnight lows will be bitterly cold next week. Highs remain only in the 20s through News Year’s Day.
