The Brutal Cold Continues

Temperatures are in the negative teens and negative single-digits.  The wind is sustained between 15 and 25 mph…gusts are between 20 and 30 mph in most places.

A wind chill warning remains until 7pm Tuesday.  A winter weather advisory is in effect until midnight.

Lows tonight get a few degrees colder, and the wind chill could be between -35 and -45º.

High temps get above zero for Tuesday’s highs.  Most places will reach the single-digits.  The wind chill will be a factor again with wind chill temps in the -10 to -20º range.

Our long-term forecast will bring improving and warming temps with a big thaw.  Temps increase into the mid 20s Wednesday, into the lower 30s Thursday.  We get into the 40s by the weekend!  There is a chance for snow late Wednesday through Thursday…we may get some minor snow accumulation.  This weekend we could see some heavy rainfall.  Stay tuned for forecast updates throughout the week.
