A Much Needed Warm Up BeginsJanuary 7th, 2014 at 7:14 pm by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
A wind chill advisory has been issued for northeastern Indiana and a few counties in eastern Indiana. Temperatures across Indiana are finally above zero. The wind still makes it feel like below zero though.
Temperatures tonight rise later and a south wind pushes milder air in. Highs by Wednesday warm into the mid 20s. Thursday we warm to the lower 30s.
We have a couple of light snow showers and areas of flurries left on Forecast 8 Vipir. These flurries diminish overnight. Another small wave of snow moves through Wednesday afternoon. That could give us a dusting to half an inch of new snow accumulation.
The warming trend continues into Thursday with highs in the lower 30s. We see the 40s Friday into this weekend. Another round of snow is possible Thursday but then the temps will be warm enough that we could see some freezing rain as the system moves out.
