Dry Start, Rain / Snow Mix Later TodayJanuary 14th, 2014 at 5:11 am by Ken Brewer under Weather
Are you ready for more cold???
TODAY: A weather system that will bring the return of winter weather will arrive later today. It will be a quiet morning, then some scattered rain showers will arrive later this afternoon. You won’t need the umbrella for your morning commute, but you may need it for the evening commute. High will approach 40 degrees this afternoon.
THIS EVENING: Scattered rain showers will mix with snow showers as colder air arrives. Temps will fall into the upper 20s by late evening.
OVERNIGHT: More snow showers will fall overnight into the Wednesday morning commute. Temps will drop to the upper teens and lower 20s. Most places will see 1″ or less of snow accumulation, but it could be enough to slick up some roads for the morning commute.
8-DAY FORECAST: Temps will swing back and forth as weak clippers will continue to swing through. We will have scattered snow showers each day through Saturday. A bit milder air will arrive by the end of the weekend, but more cold air arrives next week.
