Cold & SnowyJanuary 17th, 2014 at 10:10 am by Pamela Gardner under Weather
Snow showers are moving through Indianapolis and the southeastern parts of central Indiana. Visibility may be near-whiteout conditions with the heavier bands and expect gusty winds. Quick accumulations of 0.5″ to 1.5″ is possible this afternoon in the snow squalls. A Winter Weather Advisory continues for the southeastern corner of the state until 4pm. In that area, about 1″ of snow has already fallen this morning and an additional half inch to inch is possible.
Temperatures are ice-cold now that the cold front has moved through. Teens for almost everyone and with the wind it feels like below zero at times. Temps stay steady or fall by a couple more degrees during the day.
