Mild Today, Bitter Cold Returns Tomorrow!

Enjoy one last “mild” day!

TODAY:  Temperatures this morning are staying mild.  We are in the low to mid 30s this morning, and we will stay that way for the rest of today.  Cloud cover will thicken up during the day.

SNOW ARRIVES THIS EVENING / TONIGHT:  An arctic cold front arrives tonight.  In advance and along that boundary, snow showers will erupt.  There is a chance that some areas could see an 1″ or so by Daybreak Tuesday.

COLDER TEMPS ARRIVE TUESDAY:  Temps will go down slowly during the day Tuesday, and wind will pick up, making it a raw day.  When you factor in the wind, it will feel like single digits or even slightly below zero.  Scattered flurries and snow showers will linger during the day.

MORE BITTER COLD IN THE 8-DAY FORECAST:  The bitter cold arctic air will linger for most of the week!  Highs will only reach the teens through Friday.  We will recover a bit by Saturday, but the bitter cold reloads by the end of next weekend.  Snow shower chances will return Wednesday, then Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday of next week.
