Snow Moves Out-Brutal Cold Moves InJanuary 22nd, 2014 at 11:09 pm by Pamela Gardner under Weather
Our cold front has passed…that was when the snow squall moved through. The squall is now pushing southeast out of Indiana. Earlier, it brought snow accumulation of up to 1″ (Castleton), wind gusts up to 50 mph (Brownsburg), and whiteout conditions. Flurries and isolated snow showers remain in the forecast overnight. Lake effect snow is in northern Indiana.
Tonight a wind chill advisory goes into effect until noon Friday. Tonight’s lows will be below zero for most spots. The wind will make it feel like -10 to -25º. Thursday’s highs will be in the single digits for a lot of places with still dangerous wind chill temps.
