The warm front is to our north and temps are great! A south wind is pushing the warmth northward-Bloomington is at 60º already.
All is quiet on Forecast 8 VIPIR in central Indiana. The storms get going this afternoon. A squall line will develop to our west and move through Indianapolis this evening. The timing for the storms in all of central Indiana is 4pm (western) to 10pm (eastern).
The latest Storm Prediction Center update keeps the southern half of Indiana under a slight risk today.
The graphics below represent tornado probability and damaging wind probability. Damaging wind is the primary threat for Indiana today (oranges and reds in southern Indiana).
