Temperatures over the next few days will return to well below normal. Daytime highs will be in the 10s with overnight lows approaching 0.
Overnight temperatures will return to the 10s again tonight. With a weak clipper system bringing a chance for snow. Light snow is likely for most areas, but little accumulation is expected. Some areas may pick up a half inch to an inch of snow.
Flurries from the overnight clipper may linger into early morning, but otherwise mostly cloudy skies are expected for most of Tuesday. Highs in the upper 20s with lows dropping into the single digits.
Wednesday and Thursday:
High temperatures take a major tumble on Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be in the mid 10s with lows in the single digits to near 10 each night. Some spots could drop below zero, especially north of Indianapolis. Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies will continue.
Temperatures warm slightly, but still remain below freezing. Highs in the mid 20s. Light snow returns late Friday night with temperatures dropping into the 10s.
Highs will be near 30 with overnight lows in the low to mid 20s. Mostly cloudy skies will continue with a chance for snow moving in by Sunday night.
Snow returns with temperatures in the low 30s.
