Calmer, Colder Weather Today

March 3rd, 2014 at 4:41 am by under Weather

After the interesting weather this weekend, we should see colder, drier air today.

TODAY:  The winter storm continues to move away from the state of Indiana.  The colder, drier air that helped steer a bulk of the snow away from us will also gives us cold temperatures today.  Highs will only reach the low 20s.  There should be a mix of sun and clouds.

THIS EVENING: It will be a bitter cold this evening with mainly clear skies.

OVERNIGHT: Lows drop into the single digits overnight.

TUESDAY:  It will be milder for Tuesday.  After a chilly start, we should see somewhat milder air move in and we will see highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

8-DAY FORECAST:  There will be a weak system move through mid-week late Wednesday into Thursday morning.  As of right now, it does not appear to be a big deal.  Milder air will continue to build.  Highs will get into the 40s Thursday and Friday.  There could be a wintry mix next Saturday, but a lot can happen between now and then, so we will keep an eye on that as we get closer.
