Temperature SwingsMarch 20th, 2014 at 6:30 pm by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
A wind hung around all day and that southwest flow helped warm our temps into the 40s and lower 50s. We are still mild this evening with a strong breeze from the southwest. The wind subsides tonight and lows bottom out in the 30s.
Warmer temps take over on Friday with highs in the lower 60s. The wind will again be strong, gusting from the southwest up to 30 mph. A few rain showers are possible in the morning, and again in the evening. Most of the day will be dry with partly cloudy skies.
This weekend our temps cool and we stay dry. Saturday’s highs peak in the lower 50s, Sunday’s highs reach the lower 40s. Monday and Tuesday we get much colder with a chance for snow showers. This does NOT look like a big system with heavy accumulation, maybe minor accumulation though. Stay tuned.
Remember-the statewide tornado drill occurs between 7:30pm and 7:45pm tonight. Practice your severe weather plan.
