A Wintry Start To The WeekMarch 23rd, 2014 at 7:00 pm by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
As we wrap up the weekend our temps are running about 20 degrees colder than normal. Temps are in the 30s in most places with wind chill temps even colder than the actual temp. We had a few flurries this afternoon from some convection and cloud development, but once the sun sets, the flurries and the clouds will go away. Mainly clear with lows in the upper teens and lower 20s tonight.
High temps for Monday stay in the 30s. The clouds increase during the afternoon ahead of our next system. Snow showers move in by late Monday evening and stick around through daybreak Tuesday. There isn’t a lot of moisture with this system, but we could squeeze out around an inch of snow by Tuesday morning.
We have a wintry start to the work week, but the second half looks more like spring! Storm chances move in for the end of the week and temps warm into the 50s or 60s through next weekend. The temperatures are trending warmer for the following week, for now.
