Chilly Sunday, Snow in 8-Day Forecast?

March 23rd, 2014 at 7:07 am by under Weather

TODAY:  Colder air from the north will continue to move in today.  Temperatures will be colder, but we will see more sunshine.  Highs will reach the mid to upper 30s.

THIS EVENING:  Temps will drop into the 20s this evening, so bundle up if you are heading out.

OVERNIGHT:  Lows will drop into the upper teens and lower 20s Monday morning, so for back-to-work or the school bus stop, keep the winter coat handy! (If you are not on Spring Break!).

MONDAY…QUIET DAY, SNOW SHOWERS MONDAY NIGHT:  The chilly air will linger Monday.  The daytime hours will be dry.  Clouds will increase during the day, and an upper-level storm system will arrive Monday night.  With cold air in place, we will see light snow showers late Monday night through Tuesday morning.  Accumulation should be around 1″, so not a big system, but enough to be a pain.

8-DAY FORECAST:  After the show Tuesday, we will see a warm-up begin by mid-week.  Highs Wednesday will be in the 40s, then 50s through Saturday.  After that, warmer air will arrive Sunday and Monday of the following week!  Rain and thunderstorm chances are possible Thursday and Friday.
