More rain and storms remain in the forecast through Friday with the potential for flooding and severe weather on Thursday.
A FLOOD WATCH remains in place for most of central Indiana until Friday morning.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue, although the coverage and intensity may diminish from the earlier evening. Lows near 50 degrees.
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are likely early Thursday morning, to continue through mid/late morning. Storms may contain gusty winds. Localized flooding may be a concern, especially south of Indianapolis (Columbus, Bloomington, Greensburg)
While we’ll see a break from the heavy rain and thunderstorms, a few isolated showers and storms may still be possible. Highs in the mid to upper 60s.
Another wave of heavy rain and strong storms will roll through around midnight on Thursday night. This line may contain severe storms with gusty winds or isolated tornadoes.
Showers and a few thunderstorms could be possible Friday morning, but a trend of diminishing showers is expected through the afternoon. Highs will be in the mis 50s.
A drier but cooler pattern emerges for the weekend with highs in the mid 50s to near 60 and partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will drop a bit, in the 30s.
