Flooding is an ongoing concern this afternoon and evening, as another round of heavy rain and thunderstorms arrives tonight.

Storms will develop in eastern Illinois and move into southwestern Indiana by sunset. Those storms could be strong to severe, with a potential for damaging winds and isolated tornadoes.

Along with the severe threat, the storms will continue to dump heavy rain in areas that are already soaked from today’s rains. A Flood watch remains in place for most of central Indiana and several Flood Warnings remain in place for various rivers and streams.

As always remember : TURN AROUND DON’T DROWN!
