Good morning everyone. Cloudy skies will be around to start the day today with partly cloudy skies moving in for the afternoon hours. Chilly northwest winds will keep temperatures below average again today with daytime highs only topping out near 50°. The skies will clear for the overnight hours tonight with low temperatures dropping down to around 32°.
Sunday will start off chilly in the lower 30s but will end up slightly warmer than Saturday with daytime highs reaching the upper 50s. Partly cloudy skies Sunday will become cloud filled Sunday evening with scattered rain showers moving in early Monday morning making for a wet commute back to work and school. A warming trend begins next week.
River flood warnings continue through the weekend and into next week. Significant flooding will occur. We had 3″ to 7″ of rainfall and the heaviest rain was in southern Indiana. Here is a link to the river gauges: http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=ind
