Cold air almost here, heaviest rain moves outApril 14th, 2014 at 11:05 am by Ken Brewer under Weather
We’re in a brief break from the heaviest rain as we head through midday. Some scattered showers are still likely through the afternoon.
Temperatures remain in the 50s, but a cool-down is already taking place in the northwestern part of the state. Cold air is moving in as winds shift to the northwest. A cold front will bring the cold air in by this afternoon, and temperatures will continue dropping through the evening.
Temperatures are likely to be in the 40s through the afternoon and into the 30s by midnight.
