Storm Chances Arrive On SundayApril 26th, 2014 at 6:32 pm by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
We are enjoying another gorgeous Saturday evening. Temperatures are in the 60s to the north and in the 70s everywhere else. Tonight’s lows dip to around 50º under a partly cloudy sky.
Sunday starts off dry and partly cloudy. The clouds increase throughout the afternoon. By early evening we have a chance for showers and thunderstorms.
There is a slight risk for severe weather in southwestern Indiana. The rest of the state could see a strong t-storm with gusty wind and small hail. The storms roll in by 7pm according to Forecast 8 Futurecast.
The slight risk moves farther north to include Indianapolis on Monday. The storms could produce damaging wind, large hail, flooding rain and tornadoes. A daily chance for rain and storms remains in our forecast through Friday.
