Storms in SW Indiana

April 27th, 2014 at 4:22 pm by under Weather

A line of storms has moved into the southwestern corner of the state.  Vincennes and Sullivan have heavy rain, thunder & lightning.  The storms are slowly making their way towards Terre Haute.  Time of arrival for Indy still looks to be around 7pm.  There are no watches or warnings with these storms.

Indiana has a chance for strong storms tonight.  A severe weather outbreak is likely way to the southwest of us.  The Storm Prediction Center has issued a “high risk” for a portion of Arkansas tonight.  There could be some long-track and large tornadoes in this area.
