A Warming Trend BeginsMay 3rd, 2014 at 7:01 pm by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
Temperatures are in the 60s this evening with a strong wind from the west. Wind gusts are up to 30 mph. Once the sun sets, the wind will subside. Tonight’s lows dip into the 40s for most with a partly cloudy sky. A weak system sags south into Indiana. The clouds increase overnight and we have a chance for a stray shower. On Forecast 8 Vipir, only a few showers are found northwest of Indy now along that frontal system.
Temps for Sunday will depend on the cloud coverage. We expect 60s to the north where there will be more clouds. Lower 70s can be found to the south where there should be more sunshine. Sunday will be mainly dry with an isolated t-shower. The system lifts north on Monday and warmer air takes over through the work week. Highs on Monday and Tuesday will be in the lower 70s. Highs peak in the lower 80s for mid-week.
