Overnight Thunder Moving Out, Spotty Thunderstorms Today

TODAY: Rain from overnight will move out, and we will see fairly quiet weather for the rest of the morning.  The slow moving storm system to our west could still cause some pop-up thunderstorms, especially later this afternoon.  Highs today will return to the 80s.

THIS EVENING:  There could be a few thunderstorms this evening.  Temperatures will stay in the 70s for most of the evening.

OVERNIGHT:  Lows will only drop into the 60s as warm, humid air will linger.  There could be spotty thunderstorms.


TUESDAY: There will be periods of rain and some thunderstorms as a cold front will move into the state.  Highs will reach the 70s.

8-DAY FORECAST:  Cooler air arrives for the rest of the work week after Tuesday.  By Wednesday, highs will only reach the 60s through the weekend!  Rain chances will linger in a spotty fashion through Friday as well.  Right now, the weekend looks dry.
