Showers on Friday, but the warm up starts this weekendMay 15th, 2014 at 6:02 pm by Robb Ellis under Weather
The final piece to this slow-moving system pushes through on Friday. In its wake, temperatures will warm up and head for more May-like values.
Cooler, cloudy with a few showers or drizzle. Low near 40.
Friday:Continued cool with scattered showers for most of the day. Highs in the mid 50s with lows near 40.
Saturday:Finally! A transition from this slow-moving dreary system to a clearer, drier period. A few sprinkles could be possible early in the day, but sunshine should become more dominant during the afternoon. Highs will move into the low 60s and mid 40s.
Mostly sunny skies will help to warm temperatures back into the upper 60s. Lows will be in the upper 40s.
The 70s return next week with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will continue to warm through the first half of the week with showers and thunderstorms arriving on Wednesday. Temperatures gradually cool through the end of the week. Overnight low temperatures will also be warming up, into the 50s and 60s.
