One More Cool, Rainy DayMay 16th, 2014 at 5:46 am by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
A line of showers and heavy rain is moving northeast through central Indiana. The center of low pressure is right over the Ohio Valley and will continue to spin up more showers all day and into tonight. Plus it will stay cloudy and cool aside from the rain.
Temperatures are chilly in the 40s for most, with a few places in the upper 30s! Today’s highs will be similar to yesterday’s highs in the low to mid 50s. Tonight’s lows dip into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
A few sprinkles linger for Saturday morning, but slowly we will clear out and dry out in the afternoon. Highs reach the lower 60s. Sunday is looking dry, sunny and warmer with highs in the upper 70s. Our extended forecast finally looks more seasonable as temps return to the 70s and 80s.
Lemonade Day is Saturday in Indianapolis (and across the country)! Lemonade stands will be out all around the city. WISH-TV is a proud sponsor of this event. A few sprinkles are possible early in the day. Then we clear out, dry off and warm up into the lower 60s.
The IMS is buzzing for a big weekend! Fast Friday is iffy with scattered showers around all day and cool temps in the mid 50s. Saturday’s qualifications look good to go with clearing skies and highs around 60º. Pole Day on Sunday is great with highs in the upper 60s and mostly sunny.
