Frosty Start, Milder End to SundayMay 18th, 2014 at 6:35 am by Ken Brewer under Weather
TODAY: After a frosty start, we will see a lot of sunshine and milder temperatures this afternoon. Highs will reach the mid 60s today.
THIS EVENING: Temps will start in the 60s, then fall into the 50s.
OVERNIGHT: It should be milder tonight. Lows will drop into the low to mid 40s, so there is a chance of some patchy frost in outlying areas.
70S RETURN MONDAY! Warmer air will continue to move into the state, so highs will climb into the 70s Monday!
8-DAY FORECAST…BETTER NEWS FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND? Temps will climb into the 80s Tuesday and Wednesday. Wednesday and Thursday will see some scattered showers and thunderstorms. As of now, the holiday weekend looks to be dry and mild with highs in the mid 70s. We will continue to update the forecast in the days ahead, but hopefully the pattern will stay quiet.
