More Heat On The WayJune 17th, 2014 at 5:08 pm by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
Overview: Current temps are hovering around the upper 80s with some spots at 90. The heat index is making it feel even hotter as well. Wind gusts are between 25 and 35 mph. There is still no rain on VIPIR but that could change by tomorrow.
Tonight: We can’t rule out a chance for showers and an isolated thunderstorm in northern Indiana. We should have mostly clear skies here in the city. With temperatures in the lower 70s to start the next day.
Tomorrow: For the second straight day we will have temps around the 90 degree mark. We will have partly cloudy skies with some isolated showers but not until the evening. Humidity, once again will be high so make sure to drink lots of water if you work outside.
Remainder of Week: We start to “cool” off the rest of the week as the weekend will be in the mid to upper 80s. However, we have a strong chance for some scattered showers as well. So with chances for rain everyday until next week, make sure to always pack an umbrella with you if you are going out.
