A Stormy Weather Pattern

The warm, sticky days that we have seen so far this week are not going away anytime soon. Temperatures in the upper 80s and chances for scattered thunderstorms will stick around for the rest of the week and possibly into the weekend.

It is warm and humid out there across central Indiana. Temperatures are around 90 this afternoon and heat indices are in the mid 90s. Overnight, we will stay warm and muggy with temperatures falling into the low 70s.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across central Indiana early this evening.  Another round of storms will move through after midnight…arriving in Indianapolis around 2am.   Some storms have the potential to become severe tonight. Damaging winds will be the largest threat associated with these storms.

ADI Fcst Highs Tomorrow

Another humid day is expected across central Indiana on Thursday. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s, with some places possibly reaching the 90 degree mark. Skies will be partly sunny, and the chance for afternoon scattered showers and thunderstorms remains in the forecast. Overnight will stay humid with temperatures in low 70s.

Friday will be another warm day with high temperatures in the mid 80s. There is a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. Temperatures will cool down to around 70 degrees for Friday night.


The chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms looks like it will stick with us into the weekend. Muggy temperatures can be expected as temperatures remain in the upper 80s.
