Severe Potential Decreases, Flooding Concerns IncreaseJune 19th, 2014 at 7:04 pm by Pamela Gardner under Weather
As many areas of slow moving rain continue across the state the potential for flooding, more than severe weather, is certainly in place this evening. Some areas have already seen up to 4.5″ of rain as estimated by Forecast 8 VIPIR radar.
Multiple Flood warnings, Flash Flood warnings, and Flood advisories remain in effect around the state of Indiana. Remember, it doesn’t take much flowing water to carry vehicles off the road. In fact only six inches will carry away most cars. Turn around, don’t drown. Be safe and aware of road conditions as you head out for the evening.
