End of Week.. More Storms To Come

June 20th, 2014 at 6:06 pm by under Colts Forecast, Weather

It feels like the warmth, humidity and thunderstorms won’t go away. We’ve had above average high temperatures for the past few days, and thunderstorm pop ups since Wednesday. The week may be over, but the thunderstorm chances are not. Thunderstorm chances remain through Tuesday. It’s been a busy past few days for weather. Parts of southern Indiana had several flood warnings and advisories today as storms pushed through.

Overnight tonight will be mostly cloudy with isolated rain and thunderstorms. Storms shouldn’t be as strong once daytime heating is overtaken by night time cooling. Temperatures drop into the lower 70s tonight with a mostly cloudy sky.

Late Saturday night & Sunday morning will start off with rain showers. The remainder of the day will be partly sunny and warm with high temperatures in the mid 80s. Expect isolated thunderstorms throughout the day.

Remainder of the Week:

As the weekend ends, the thunderstorms DO NOT. Monday and Tuesday we will have scattered thunderstorms with mostly cloudy conditions. These two days will be warm with high temperatures in the upper 80s. The remainder of the week and start of the weekend will have temperatures in the mid 80s. We have a little break (finally) from the thunderstorms starting Wednesday, but we have another chance for scattered thunderstorms again on Friday.
