Temperatures have reached into the mid 80s with head indices pushing 90 degrees. As we move into the work week we will see the continuation of a stormy summer pattern. Monday will be hot and humid with a high temperature around 90 degrees. After that, temperatures will fall back down into the 80s, but the humidity will stick around. Expect high humidity and temperatures in the mid 80s for the rest of the week, as well as the chance for scattered showers and storms.
Tonight will be muggy with temperatures dropping down to around 70 degrees. Expect a few scattered showers and thunderstorms to pop up; otherwise skies will be partly cloudy.
Monday will be the hottest day this week with temperatures expected to reach 90 degrees. The humidity will make the temperatures feel even warmer. Again, the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms remains in the forecast during the afternoon. Monday night will stay muggy as the temperatures fall to the low 70s.
The rest of the week will be warm and humid as temperatures stay in the mid to upper 80s. There is a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms every day this week. As of now, none are expected to be severe.
