Today has been a busy day for weather with association of several flash flood warnings and tornado warnings. A tornado was confirmed on ground on US40/ Perry Rd and just to the west of Speedway earlier today. Showers and thunderstorms will remain for the rest of the night. Roads are wet and traffic is heavier in some areas of Indianapolis. There have been many reports of roof damage, trees down, shingles down, and others. Roofs of houses are being worked on near Raceway Rd. where they are putting tarps down.
Showers and thunderstorms will remain for the rest of the night. Our main threat for the night is flooding. There have been several issued flood warnings. Futurecast shows all rain and thunderstorms completely out of the Indiana area by 1:30 a.m. Early hours become mostly cloudy with a low temperature of 68.
It will be partly cloudy with a slight chance for rain and thunderstorms. The chance for rain occurs afternoon into the evening hours. The high temperature will reach the lower to mid 80s.
Showers and thunderstorms return for several days. Thursday will have isolated thunderstorms with high temperatures in the lower 80s. Friday through Sunday with have scattered thunderstorms with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
