Scattered thunderstorms and rain around the state at this hour and we are expecting that to continue in our forecast for the weekend. Temperatures will warm up to near 90 by Monday, then cool back down as storms once again return for Tuesday.
Scattered storms will diminish this evening as the heating of the day goes away. Expect temperatures to cool just below 70, as we are expecting a low of 68 tonight here in the city.
Saturday & Sunday:
Scattered storms remain in our forecast throughout the weekend as warm conditions, combine with an increase in humidity, to create an overall sticky and muggy weekend. Expect a high near 82 Saturday and a high of 85 on Sunday.
We get a reprieve from the rain for Monday, however there will be no break from the heat. Partly cloudy skies will be in place for Monday with a high temperatures reaching 90 here in the city.
Another round of scattered thunderstorms will move through the region on Tuesday and will provide a slight cool down for Wednesday. Expect a high temperature near 86 Tuesday afternoon.
Late Next Week:
We can finally say goodbye to the potential for rain each day on Wednesday, as we kick off a drier trend for the rest of the 8 day. Expect temperatures to stay in the 80s through this period, warming back near 90 by next Saturday.
