TODAY: Lots of tropical moisture is in place across central Indiana. This will mean a warm and humid day, but it will also mean scattered thunderstorms with some heavy downpours. These will pop-up anywhere and anytime, and some of these could drop rainfall totals over 1″ with some localized flash flooding possible. No organized severe thunderstorms are expected, but a few thunderstorms could have gusty wind. Highs will reach the mid 80s before the thunderstorms will arrive.
THIS EVENING: Scattered thunderstorms are possible this evening, it will stay humid with temps in the low 80s and upper 70s.
OVERNIGHT: Chances of scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue. It will be warm and soupy as lows will only drop into the low 70s and upper 60s.
SUNDAY: The weather pattern will stay the same with lots of humidity and scattered thunderstorms.
8-DAY FORECAST / INDEPENDENCE DAY: The unsettled pattern will linger through Tuesday, with heat, humidity, and thunderstorm chances. After that, cooler and drier air will arrive in time for the 4th of July. Highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s with dry weather!
