Here are some live satellite and radar images of Hurricane Arthur. It is now a category 1 hurricane sitting off the coast of Georgia and South Carolina.
Wind speed is 75 mph with gusts up to 90 mph. It is moving to the north at 9mph. It will turn slightly to the northeast and reach the Outer Banks of North Carolina tonight, hitting with 85 mph winds. In those areas, 3 to 5 inches of rain will be possible with isolated places getting 7 inches of rainfall. The storm continues to the northeast staying off the coast, but close enough to New York and Boston that the rain and wind will put a damper on holiday plans through Sunday.
