Rain Returns SundayJuly 5th, 2014 at 3:56 pm by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
We are enjoying warm temperatures and low humidity this Saturday. Temps are in the upper 70s in most places. Warmer temps remain overnight as we reach lows in the lower 60s.
A complex of storms has weakened as it continues to move east into Illinois. The rain is running into drier and more stable air. Although, some of our forecast models have a couple stray showers making it into northwestern Indiana late tonight. Then by Sunday afternoon the humidity will be higher-enough to support pop up showers and storms throughout the day. The severe storm risk does stay to the northwest of central Indiana for Sunday afternoon and evening. Aside from the storms, it will be warmer with highs in the mid 80s and partly cloudy skies.
Our storm chances stick around for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. A cold front moves through Monday into Tuesday, giving us more storm chances and a slight cool down for mid-week.
