Scattered Showers Now, Spotty T-Storms LaterJuly 6th, 2014 at 6:53 am by Ken Brewer under Weather
TODAY: Pockets of rain showers from this morning should exit by mid-morning. This is the leading edge of warmer and more humid air that will move in during the course of the day. That air could help produce additional pockets of rain and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the mid 80s.
THIS EVENING: There will be a chance of a few showers and thunderstorms this evening.
OVERNIGHT: A complex of storms could drift into the state from the NW overnight. These could be strong with some gusty winds, and some hail, and maybe an isolated tornado.
MONDAY: Expect more scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will again reach the mid 80s.
8-DAY FORECAST: More rain and thunderstorm chances will continue through Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday look dry. We could see a few thunderstorms Saturday, and again the following Monday. Highs will bounce back and forth from the low 80s to the mid to upper 80s.
