Chance for Severe Storms Today

TODAY:  A strong cold front will approach central Indiana today.  We have plenty of moisture and instability in place, so that could lead to severe weather, especially in the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will reach the mid 80s with a lot of humidity to go along with it.

THIS EVENING:  Pockets of thunderstorms will continue.  Temps will stay in the 80s for a good part of the evening.

Micro 1

OVERNIGHT:  Thunderstorm chances will continue overnight.  Lows will only fall into the low 70s again, an indication of the tropical air mass still in place.

Micro 2

TUESDAY:  One more day with rain and thunderstorms.  The severe threat will slide to our south. Highs will reach the low 80s.

Micro 3

8-DAY FORECAST:  Nice weather returns for the rest of the work week with comfortable temps and low humidity.   Highs will make the upper 70s to low 80s.
