A Dry StretchJuly 9th, 2014 at 5:51 am by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
High pressure settles in just to our west and that means sunshine, dry weather, less humidity and cooler temps.
Current temps are in the 60s and we are running much cooler compared to this time yesterday. Some light patchy fog is possible but we don’t have any visibility issues at this time.
Highs today reach the upper 70s and lower 80s to the south. The latest rapid refresh model brings in pop up showers late this afternoon for a few areas. The slim chance for rain isn’t a concern, really. So that is why we keep the forecast dry and sunny.
Tonight we get cool again with lows in the 50s and lower 60s under a clear sky.
Thursday will be just as great as today with temps again in the upper 70s and lower 80s with more sunshine.
Friday brings us warmer temps in the lower 80s but it is still looking dry. Saturday and Sunday we have a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. The humidity becomes uncomfortable again and highs reach the mid 80s.
